Hi, I'm looking for a new main sail. My IF has an old main from Northsail but I'm not too pleased with the cut. I have it used so it may have stretched and of course it is well worn. However, good quality construction. What supplier do you recommend? Mainly cruising type sailing. thanks. iamsville

Hi, check the Gudgeons, the bolts that hold your rudder to the keel. I found mine leaking when one had come loose.

The outside of the rudder Seams very rough at the water level. Would suggest sometime physical damage to the rudder Perhaps from Being in Water During freeze? Heavy Barnacles? Thanks Maja, I may try removing my engine and storing it in the locker when under sail. I currently have a 6 hp with the starter cord through the cockpit wall. Believe your tiller is cracked in the round part. Attached Have a picture from my spare. Hope this helps .

I would check the tension or adjustments of your standing rigging. Also, how much tension is on the forestay when you have your IF moored. I do not have this cracking on our IF but always leaving slack in the backstay when moored.

I had leakage from the bow pulpit and from the lifeline stanchions. Rebedded and haven't had a leak since then.

Many thanks. The plaque is very thin aluminum and grey. The letters also have no color. I've added a picture and circled the plaque. The letters soon will be black.

My 1976 Marieholm has an aluminum plaque (name plate) on each side of the cockpit. There are no colors but work Marieholm is clear. Does anyone know what the original colors were for this plaque? I would like to return it to original condition.
