Hello,
I just rise my mast in my Marieholm 26 with a professional rigger. My question due the fact that folkboat in italy are probably 6/7 total there are no experience or instruction wich is the best seup for mast, rank bend etc etc...
Thanks to anybody could help me and give information or tips. I've a selden mast with original neil pride sails.

Hey Sailors, I am adding a spinnaker to my rig and need to know what height on the mast above the lower spar band the turning block for the topping lift is secured . It doesn't appear to state the measurement in the class rules. Thanks, otter.

If you mean the block (or sheave) for the spinnaker boom lift, the height is free according to the class rules. As a standard for older spars (before 1972), there is a fitting for a turning (swirling) block at spreader height, and the entire lift rope is meant to be running outside the spar. On rigs after 1973, there is a sheave integrated in the mast spar approximately at the same position, and the hoisting end of the rope is running inside the spar and comes out of the spar near the mast step.
